I have one question for the head of the Fed, Mr. Ben Bernanke. It’s a rather simple question, to which I’ll probably never get an answer. That question is these three words: “What the fuck?”.

Now, as I’m sure you’ve all heard, Mr. Bernake’s big idea to fix the economy is to purchase $600 billion worth of new Treasury bonds.

If you’re not 100% clear on what that really means, I’ll simplify it for you. Basically, his lovely idea is to literally print off $600 billion worth of new money. If you’re a liberal or an idiot (well, I guess “liberal” would cover both terms here), you’d call this policy “quantitative easing”.

Quantitative easing (QE) is a monetary policy used by some central banks to increase the supply of money by increasing the excess reserves of the banking system, generally through buying of the central government’s own bonds to stabilize or raise their prices and thereby lower long-term interest rates. -Wikipedia

If you’re smart, or at least in 3rd grade, you’d refer to this as something called “inflation”. And if we can all just take a minute to go back to that middle school economics class, let’s reflect on what inflation does:

More expensive goods

Less valuable money

So if anyone would care to explain the benefit of inflation, while in a brutal economy, please do! I’m all ears.

Also, Quantitative Easing is mostly used to lower interest rates. Um, can we take a second to take a quick peek at the interest rates right now? The rates we see today are at truly historic lows. They may NEVER be this low again. Interest is nearing 0%. Explain how we can go lower on interest rates.

This policy is a fucking joke, and only an ignorant, uneducated, jackass would believe that this is even a halfway decent attempt at a 5th grade policy project. Leave it to our president, and his cult of uneducated liberals, to agree with Bernanke.

All I can hope is that the Tea Party has enough of a pull to get this stupid idea off of the table, and even remove Bernanke from his position. I know they’re high hopes, but what else can I do?

So, I leave Bernanke with my initial question: “What the fuck?”. What the fuck is wrong with him? What the fuck does he think this is going to solve? Did he not see that President Hussein’s bailout didn’t do shit for the economy (well, actually it did; it put us further in the hole, raised unemployment, lessened the value of the dollar, among many many other negatives) – so what the fuck does he think this is going to change?

Mr. Bernanke, you get this week’s “What the Fuck?”

Haha, here we go again, more people speaking out against the socialist Pelosi; but this time, it’s her own team throwing her under the bus.

It still cracks me up that Pelosi really believes that she wasn’t a major factor in the landslide election. It just goes to show you how incredibly ignorant, and truly stupid, she is.

Jim Matheson was quoted as saying ” ‘Why’s she running for minority leader in the first place?’ We just got thumped in this election in a major way, and to act like we can just go back and do the same thing over again. It just seems like a very obvious situation when change is called for.”

Well Jim, I can’t say I really agree with you, most of the time, but you are spot on with this one.

This is a prime example of why extremism (on either side) is an awful idea. Pelosi is one of, if not the most, left-wing, socialist, “don’t hurt anyone’s feelings”, people in modern politics.

I hope she runs for the minority leader, and I hope she gets laughed out of the election. Unfortunately, she won’t be out of office for a while (thanks to all of the lovely fuck ups in San Fran who voted for her), but I really hope that she gets the message this time: “Your policies may work for gays, tree-huggers, and un-educated people, but America doesn’t want them – GO AWAY”

Well, sadly, I can’t really say I’m shocked. Actually, that’s not entirely true – I am shocked – but not at the fact that North Korea is working closely with Iran, Syria and Myanmar (and probably more..), to provide them with weapons of mass destruction, and likely nuclear force. No, that’s actually reinforcing what I’ve been saying for quite some time now. What surprises me is the fact that the US still sits back, sees the reports, knows full-well what’s going on, and doesn’t do shit about it.

According to a Fox News report found here, a document sourced from the UN states that North Korea is exporting banned nuclear weapons to other dangerous, unstable countries.

Basically, North Korea is bypassing and, quite frankly, just ignoring, any of the regulations set forth by the UN in regards to nuclear and ballistic trade. As I mentioned earlier, this really comes as no surprise to me; North Korea has a plan – a plan to destroy as much as they can, and they will ally with any weak nation, in hopes that they can actually succeed. The scary part is – they will succeed if the powerful nations of the world don’t stand up and put these bastards in their place.

This is the kind of story that really grinds me; I know the US will do NOTHING about this. And they won’t do anything because it’s too mean, and too unkind to the communist garbage over there. After all, we wouldn’t like to lose any “innocent” communist lives, especially if it meant saving our own now, would we? That’s crazy talk.

If you’re interested in reading the entire 70-page PDF from the UN, you can see it here.
